Well, here it is December already! Ahh. The Christmas Season. Shop, shop, shop 'til you drop, drop drop! Maybe not. The stores don't seem as crowded with frenzied shoppers this year. But, it's still early in the game With the unemployment hovering just over 10% and home foreclosures still going hot and heavy, and another large chunk of the population already maxed out on their plastic, this might be a dismal year for the merchants. Who has any money....but the good ole banks who, of course, have plenty of money, our money. Remember the bail out "tarp" the big banks received courtesy of the American taxpayer? I personally have made the switch to a local credit union and have never been happier. Also, I have decided not to send Christmas cards this year. You have to cut corners somewhere and I am saving the life of a tree!
Merry Christmas to all.
